A while back I was going through my grandfather's things after he died and found a broken Rolleiflex Automat. I brought it home and it sat for years with a cracked ground-glass and gummed up gears and shutter.
Fast forward to 2024 to when I was getting ready to do a backpacking trip out in Arizona and wanted to bring a film camera along (it had been years since using film) as a fun way to document the trip. I looked online and found a repair shop not too far from where I live and was lucky enough they could repair it. To kick off brining the camera back to life I brought along two rolls of Psych Blues A 120 400 film (Kodak Portra film fogged by hand).
It was my first time using a medium format camera and I have to say I am hooked.
